We take our motto seriously. Everyone have been on flights where frumeh Yidden sleep through the halochic morning in the airplane. Obviously, they do it because they are not aware that the artificial night of the airplane has nothing to do with night outside.  Often they have no idea when zemanim occur on the airplane at all. That is, of course, why we have provided online estimates of airplane zemanim for more than a decade.

Unfortunately, the online tables are only crude estimates.  Lacking details of the flight, they must assume that the airplane is cruising along the ideal great circle route at a constant velocity for the entire flight.  In reality, the air route constantly changes for numerous factors.  Certainly, the airplane's velocity is not a constant.

Are you satisfied with rough estimates of the zemanim when at home?  If not, then why in the air?  We weren't satisfied.   So we spent a lot of time and effort developing the "Pro" program with GPS navigation. We have refined it to the point that you can even daven k'vasikin with the same accuracy as on the ground.
